Coordinator: A federal employee volunteer charged with directing the local CFC planning, promotion and outreach for a specific federal agency.
Federation: A non-profit organization with 15 or more member constituents with a similar mission, goals or service to a geographic location.
Keyworker: A federal employee volunteer who helps with the planning, promotion and solicitation of federal employees during the Combined Federal Campaign period.
LFCC: Local Federal Coordinating Committee. A committee comprised of local federal employee volunteers (often heads of federal agencies) who have oversight and authority over the local Combined Federal Campaign.
Local Independent Charity: A local non-profit organization that operates independently (does not belong to a federation).
PCFO: Principal Combined Fund Organization. The non-profit organization designated by the LFCC to act as the fiscal and promotional agent for the local Combined Federal Campaign. For Intermountain CFC, the PCFO is currently United Way of Northern Utah. PCFOs are not paid any fees for serving in this capacity, but their LFCC-approved expenses are reimbursed by the campaign.
